The wireless relay is a device used to transmit commands and status information between each station in a snow melting system wirelessly. It is used in conjunction with a wireless modem. Status information obtained from sensors is sent from the lower side to the upper side wireless relay, and operational commands for the pump are sent from the upper side to the lower side. It is possible to operate equipment such as pumps located at a distance in coordination, or to collect information from multiple sensors to the master unit.
